RULES:
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Youth 10 -16 years of age (please specify on entry form)
- Adult 17 years of age and over (please specify on entry form)
- Family or groups may enter (please specify on entry form)
- No obvious advertising, political/religious statements, or anything of a violent nature
- Majority of treasure must be made of recycled materials
- Must be able to stand alone or be provided with hangers or hooks for display
- Size: If you have an oversized entry (over 6ft wide/12ft tall) please call Fair staff to inquire about availability of space for your exhibit. Thank you!
- Covered area is limited. Exhibits must be somewhat weather-resistant (outside under tent)
- Should not require any electricity (batteries OK)
JUDGING
Exhibits will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Creative or artistic use of recycled materials
- Funny and/or playful
- Something old given a new or different use - functional
- Fabric-up cycling
Class 1: Fabric –more than 50% fabric
Class 2: Metal –more than 50% metal
Class 3: Glass –more than 50% glass
Class 4: Plastic –more than 50% plastic
Class 5: Other Materials – something not listed above
Class 6: Fair Theme “A Century of Growing: 100 Years at Home”
Hands-on workshop for supervised children open 10:30 am to 8:30 pm every day of Fair!
