SJIMA is participating in the San Juan Island Community Foundation's (SJICF) Virtual Fair Grant Campaign where each donor making a contribution to SJIMA will have a chance to enter a drawing for an additional $1,000 to SJIMA. The SJICF seeks to connect donors with nonprofits, enriching the lives of San Juan Islanders. Donations are accepted securely online with any bank fees covered by SJICF.

Art museums are a place of peace and can be a salve in difficult times. The power of art. It can help present issues in ways that words cannot. "Art museums can play a key role in facilitating community dialogues and the SJIMA is doing an excellent job providing that for our community." G. Bruels
