Fair Vendors

Do you want exposure for your island business? Are you an "off-islander" that would like to extend your business into the islands? Do you have a product that you want to share with the Islands? You've come to the right place!
The San Juan County Fair hosts a variety vendors each year. With a gate flow of 20,000 visitors over a period of four days, there is no better exposure to San Juan County than at the County's largest event of the year--the Fair!

2019 Fair Vendor Application

*Read First* Please complete the following application. Once your application is received and Fair staff can confirm a place for you at the event, you will be asked to sign a contract. Please thoroughly review the rules in the application below (Rules checkbox). After submitting your online application, you will receive an email confirmation. If you don't see an email confirming receipt of your application, try checking your spam folder.

Deposit and Payment

  • A deposit of 50% of your total balance due is required to hold your space requested--please send payment after Fair staff has contacted you with booth approval.
  • Payment is accepted in person at the Fair office in Friday Harbor, 849A Argyle Avenue, via credit card over the phone, or via mail by check. Unfortunately, at this time the SJC Fair does not accept online payments (such as PayPal)
  • Final booth payment is due by July 15th, 2019
  • Cancellations made 30 days prior to Fair may receive a 50% refund. There will be no refunds for cancellations after this time.

Vendor Passes & Set-Up

All persons working/staffing, volunteering, or "filling in" for a booth must have Fair Vendor season pass. Passes are available for purchase at the discounted rate of $15 (Adult seasons passes are regularly $25). Please order and purchase enough passes for your staff/volunteers and disperse them to your booth participants before opening day of the Fair. Each 10 x10 space automatically receives 2 vendor passes. You, as the vendor contact, will receive all passes upon check-in at the Fair Office in your vendor envelope.
The Fair Office and/or ticket gate cannot be responsible for holding vendor passes for individual pick-up. Please plan accordingly.
You may check in and start setting up* your booth Monday (Aug 12th) or Tuesday (Aug 13th) anytime between 8am and 8pm.
*Please note: if you chose to rent any equipment from the Fair such as a tent with sidewalls, pipe & drape (indoor only) or a set of tables and chairs, those items will not be set-up until Monday afternoon.


Layout for Food Court The Fair staff will do their best to accommodate everyone in their desired spot in the food court based on power and space needs. Thank you for your patience.
Electrical is provided via large electrical cords that have a pair of 120V plug-ins.
Water is accessible to every food booth, vendors are required to bring their own potable water hoses.
To dispose gray water, vendors must utilize one of the two units provided in the food court. Vendors must have their own gray water containers to transport to the larger receptacles. Grease that has been returned to its original receptacle (NOT in gray water receptacles) can be removed by Fair. No food in gray water receptables please!

Camping during the Fair?

Are you a vendor, entertainer or exhibitor who would like to camp during the Fair? Stay at the Fairgrounds! We have tent camping & dry RV camping at the Fairgrounds during the Fair, or RV camping with electrical & water hookup (this space is limited and located next to the carnival area). Site prices are based on 5 people per site with one parked vehicle. Parking passes and trailer passes are sold separately. Apply online!
